About me

It was in 2014, that I began working with lenses to capture the detail of my paintings, in an less objective manner. An unusual consequence occurred, in which the photographs themselves allowed for a completely new perspective to transpire. Through years of experience, I have cultivated a focus for the appearing result expanded from my macro camera. A deeper layer has been provided measured in infinite millimeter projections. The process begins with the paint and is seen through to the final photographed result. It may seem as if a terrified animal is being backed into a corner, amidst a crisis, with no escape. My interest remains in the act of construction and in the material behaviours of the painting.
